Christmas family get together

It was a very small get together this year. Quite a few were missing, but it's still always nice to get together and see everyone!

Before the family get together on Saturday we went out to take a few photos together. Once again, we forgot to take ourselves (Kirk and me) and I forgot to take both my parents with the kids! I really need to bring a checklist next time. Anyway, these are my favorites.

Jessica and Lynn's visit

Jessica and Lynn came for a visit at the beginning of November. They stayed at our house a couple of days and we packed a lot in.

This is what Avery did to welcome them. Their own streamers!

One day I took them to San Diego. First we stopped at the temple.

Then we went down to the Coronado Hotel and walked to the water. It was a beautiful, warm day!

Then we went to La Jolla Cove to see the sea lions. The smell was attrocious until we rounded the corner. Seriously don't know how people live downwind from that place! But once you get around the curve it is amazing! We watched the sea lions for a good while.

The next day we went to LA and went to The Price is Right! (to be televised Christmas Eve morning). Because it was their Christmas Eve special we all got gifted a soda machine! I just took mine "back" to Walmart and got a $100 gift card for it. Woo hoo!
