Big League Chew...again

Avery had her last game Saturday evening. She's had such a good season and has really improved her fielding abilities. So much so that she received the Big League Chew for the 3rd time this season and this time it was for an outstanding job in center field. The ball was hit to her too many times to count and each and every time she got the ball and threw it in like an expert! It's been so much fun going to all her games and we will miss cheering her on until next Spring. Well, we'll get our fill next year. From the sounds of it we will have 3 kids playing baseball! A baseball kind of night

On Friday night we enjoyed a fun night of baseball! I had bought my mom tickets to the Angels game for Mother's Day and then Avery's team announced it was Storms night for their league on the same night. So, we got a babysitter for Devin (he wouldn't have lasted the whole game) and Kirk took Avery and Justin to the Storm's game (minor league for the Padres) and I took my mom to the Angel's game. Kirk said Avery had fun with her teammates and getting to go down on the field with her team and the whole league. From what I heard they had a good time! Devin said he had fun with his babysitter because she took him to the park and helped him with the monkey bars. What a nice babysitter! And my mom and I had a great time watching the Angels win 4 - 0 and then enjoyed the fireworks display after. Fun times!

New level

Devin had been making good progress in his swimming class, so today he switched classes. I can tell this one is going to be much better for him. He can now float on his back for 15 or more seconds unassisted, float on his front with face in the water for about 5-10 seconds before needing a breath, glide from teacher to the side of the pool, jump in and turn to grab the side by himself. He's now learning to go from back float to front float and back again and getting the beginning of swimming strokes. He has so much fun in there. He's so darned cute! (excuse the blurry pictures. I took these with my phone and the lense must have had a finger print on it or something)

All clear!

Devin had his first ever dentist appointment last week. He did really well listening to instructions! His favorite part was going up and down in the chair. Best part - no cavities!

Father/Daughter Date update

Avery came home today with her pictures taken from her Father/Daughter dance 2 weeks ago. Love, LOVE, LOVE it!!!
