Goldy Locks and the 3 Bears

 Devin's kindergarten class did a play last week and Devin played the best tree you could possibly play!  He did an excellent job on all his lines!  We were so impressed!  Great job, Devin!!!!

American Idol

Last week my friends and I went to the finale performance of American Idol!  So much fun!  And it was an easy process.  No standing in lines for hours on end.  Since it was held at the Nokia Theater and it seats 7,000 people, they simply held the line for a little over an hour, handed out assigned seating and off we went to grab some lunch and hang until it was time to go in.  After eating lunch, we started walking back toward the theater and I spotted my favorite (eliminated) contestant, Hollie, standing on the corner with her friend.  Such a sweet girl (and tiny!).  We talked to her for a minute, grabbed a photo (which is VERY unflattering of me!) and headed to the performance.  We sat up in the box seats area and they were pretty good.  After, we went to dinner and were home by 9:30.  Thanks Lindsey and Jolene for a great day!

Patriotic performances

Avery and Devin had performances at school the past 2 Fridays.  It was a patriotic theme and they did a great job!

The next picture makes me laugh.  The little blond boy with his hand out is Trent, Devin's best buddy.  I watch him for 30 minutes every day after school.  Those two are 2 peas in a pod!  The little boy between them is Jack and Devin loves him!  He was in kindergarten last year with Devin, so they are great little friends.

GOAL!

Avery scored her first ever goal a couple of Saturdays ago and I didn't bring my camera!  Thank goodness Tandy had hers and was able to capture the magic.  :)  Way to go, Avery!!!!
