It's Devin's turn to be involved in something other than therapy or something related to scholastic learning. This morning he started swimming lessons and loved every minute of it! There were only 2 of them in the class, but I think there is another child that wasn't there today. He was only a little leary at first, but was very trusting and had fun with it. I feel like this is really good for him not only for water safety reasons, but it allows another avenue of working on his receptive learning in that he's having to listen and follow instructions a lot - one of his biggest weaknesses. He's had a difficult past few weeks behaviorally, but especially this week. Maybe this will be something he can look forward to. Happy swimming Devin!

That just seems unreal to think of swimming lessons in February. Please tell me it's an indoor pool.
We have snow on the ground, but I still go swimming several times a week. Tell Devin I have "dumbells" very similar to his! They are for water aerobics, and they are blue, too!
