Summer's half over!

Here is what we've been up to thus far into our summer break: Swimming, swimming and more swimming. Avery and Devin started out the first 2 weeks of summer with swimming lessons through the city, which I posted in an earlier post. Now just Devin is finishing up a 2 week run of lessons with a private instructor that is fabulous. Of course now that he only has 1 lesson left he's finally getting super comfortable. Oh well. He's had fun. We've also had some fun with the Benedict's in our back yard mini-inflatable slide. Perfect size for Devin and lots of fun!
Here are the Benedict kids with us in our backyard...

Go Devin, Go!

So much more confidence now! He even will go under willingly!

This cutie is going to be 9 next week!

So proud to be a great swimmer and able to go in the deep water with no problems now...

Not only siblings, but friends...

This is Sam Benedict and Justin having a race...

Lots of exercise works up a good appetite!

And I had to show you all my garden. We now have 3 pumpkins growing, and a yellow squash. Waiting on the corn and green beans. I think the green beans are dying, though. Everything else is looking good!

And I'm not anonymous. Why would I still be logged on? I guess I just closed windows and didn't ever shut anything down--was afraid I'd never have access again! ha.
Hey, Suz! How come YOUR garden is better looking than mine???? That's so crazy. But very true. And that is one huge yellow pumpkin on the back left outside the cage--jk. Truly, we got 10 radishes, a salad worth of spinach. That's about it. Really. And weedy sunflowers that are going out really soon to the trash can, some volunteer lettuce from last year. Pitiful, truly a mess. You should be so proud of your lovely little Eden.
