Wednesday heavy a rain, lightning and thunder storm was expected, so we stayed home. The rain never really came. I think it lightly rained for a minute, but that was all. We had more rain on the other days for sure. But it was a nice and relaxing day. And since the kids felt cooped up all day, we went for a little walk by the lake in the evening.
Thursday we went to Cripple Creek and had lunch. Devin and Avery had steak and Justin had shrimp! It was our big meal splurge and they ate every bite. What a treat! We then walked up the main street looking for souvenirs, but didn't find any, so we headed to the mine.

Mom wanted a picture of Sandi and I, so we took a couple. Please notice that Sandi's shirt is inside out! She didn't even know until later and we weren't about to take more pictures. Ha!
It was our last night together. Boo! It was such a nice visit and so much fun. We played games around the table for the last night.
